Junior Grading & Team Allocation

Please find below details regarding team allocation and grading for season 2015. Registration details can be found here. Team Allocation – U6 & U7’s Parents will be advised via email or phone of the team their child has been allocated to, and initial training dates. Weekly training will commence in March, at a time suitable for the individual team coaches.   Grading & Team Allocation – U8’s U8’s Small Sided Games will play a 7v7 format in 2015. The top team will be graded, whilst all other teams will be ranked according to their approximate standard, so that teams play similar standard teams during the season. The Club will grade U8 Mini teams over a 2 week period, commencing in early February. The Grading Committee will grade players based on performance in group training sessions. Grading sessions will be between 8am & 9am. All U8 players need to attend these sessions so that team allocations can be finalised efficiently.    Grading - Juniors (U9's & above) The Club will grade teams in 2014 over a 2 week period, commencing early February.  The Grading Committee will grade players based on performance in group training sessions held for each age division on the following days:
U8 Sunday 8am to 9am     
U9 Sunday 8am to 9am  
U10 Sunday 9.30am to 10.30am  
U11 Sunday 11am to 12pm  
U12 Sunday 11am to 12pm
Grading for U13 & above will only be held on an as-needs basis, with players & parents to be advised of relevant dates if required. More information regarding the Grading Policy can be found here

Presentation Day, a New Life Member & 2013 AGM

Sunday the 15th of September was the club's Annual Presentation Day & Annual AGM. It was a beautiful spring day and all of the Mini & Junior Teams as well as successful senior teams were given trophies for their efforts during season 2013. A new life membership was awarded this year to Club Treasurer and Premier League Player and Manager James Solomons. James has played for the club for 15 years, 12 of those in the Premier League Squad and has served on the Executive Committee for 7 years, now becoming the club's longest serving Treasurer. He has managed the Premier League Squad since 2007 and has co-ordinated the Redbacks FC Pre-Season Cup (when it hasn't been rained out). His business EFS Strategic is also a long term sponsor of the club. The AGM was held and the club committee and executive committee have remained relatively unchanged for season 2014. Aaron Mooy returns to Redbacks

Western Sydney Wanderer Aaron Mooy will take a break from his A-League final series preparation to come down to View Street on Tuesday April 9, between 5.45pm and 7pm. Aaron started playing football at Redbacks and has played a key role in the midfield in the Wanderers fairytale debut season in the A-League. Aaron will be at View Street to chat with players and to sign autographs. Make sure you don't miss this chance to meet this very talented footballer!

Council Grounds Alcohol Free Areas

PLEASE NOTE that all Council grounds AND School grounds are ALCOHOL FREE areas andno-one should be selling Alcohol from their Canteens. This is totally illegal. For those teams who feel they cannot do without a drink at the endof their games please be aware that if a Council Ranger catches you Councils will impose fines. Also if any team is found to be consuming alcohol at any ground and gets noisy or abusive towards referees, teams still playing or other spectators the Association will step in and take action against your team and your club.
